Installation and configuration

1. Download the installer from the download page.
2. In Joomla, open System → Install → Extensions and upload the ZIP without extracting it.
3. Reload the administrator page.

To find the settings, open System → Manage → Plugins and search for Sticky-Admin.

Settings

• Additional top offset: 0–200 pixels, default 0. Adds space above the sticky sidebar menu.
• Bottom gap: 0–100 pixels, default 8. Adds space below the sidebar’s scroll area.

Responsive behaviour

The sticky header and sidebar apply from 576 pixels wide. Article and module tab rows apply from 768 pixels wide, except when Joomla uses its accordion view. Smaller screens retain Joomla’s native layout.

Updates

Use System → Update → Extensions to check for new releases. Under System → Update → Update Sites, the update feed is named Sticky-Admin Updates.

Disable or uninstall

Disable System – Sticky-Admin to restore Joomla’s original behaviour. Uninstall through System → Manage → Extensions. Updates can be installed over the existing version without uninstalling.

Scope

Requires Joomla 5 or 6 and the Atum administrator template. Frontend pages, login pages, other administrator templates and component-only popups are excluded.
