Safe, practical workflow

Sticky Admin is intentionally focused. It improves day-to-day administration without adding unnecessary complexity. Because no Joomla core files are modified, it remains easier to maintain and update as part of a normal Joomla workflow.

Installation and updates

New installations enable the plugin automatically. Updates preserve the existing enabled or disabled state and spacing settings. Installation is done through System > Install > Extensions, followed by a reload of the administrator page. Requires the Atum administrator template.

Get started with Sticky Admin.

  1. Download the ZIPSave the installer without extracting it.
  2. Install in JoomlaOpen System → Install → Extensions and upload the ZIP.
  3. Review your settingsOpen System → Manage → Plugins, find Sticky Admin, then configure and save.

Requires Joomla 5 or 6. Joomla 5 requires PHP 8.1 or later; Joomla 6 requires PHP 8.3 or later. Requires the Atum administrator template. Install updates over the existing version to preserve settings.
